International Engineering & Manufacturing, Inc.s (IEM) quality control expectations keep growing so those procedures are continually upgraded and monitored as new technology becomes available. Our quality control procedure is designed to catch manufacturing defects before our customers ever see our Woodys® products or the product supplied to the snowmobile manufacturers. This dedication to quality is what keeps IEM the supplier of choice for snowmobile and track manufacturers.

International Engineering's quality control procedures follow strict guidelines to reach a goal of zero defects. Some procedures used are revision control process, receiving inspection process, supplier corrective action procedure, non-conforming material policy, prototype process, documentation control area, and in-house quality audit procedures.

The manufacturing process is tracked with an ERP software quality program throughout the process, from incoming raw material to product packaged and ready to ship. At each station, specific quality guidelines established on the print are measured with tools and inspection machines designed by and programmed for IEM specifically for their quality process. The parts are inspected repeatedly at designated points in the manufacturing process as the quality control guidelines specify. Dedicated quality control personnel sign off only after the correct specifications have been verified.
